Australia’s Next Top Model May Be the Next Hooters Honey Contest Winner

May 28, 2008 - PRLog -- Australia’s Next Top Model News: Hooters Australia will host the next round of their annual beauty and bikini model Hooters Honey Contest at their newest Australian restaurant Hooters Cronulla in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire this Thursday.

Up to eight top Hooters Girls will compete in the next round this Thursday for their chance to win the next place at the Hooters Honey Contest Grand Final at Hooters Parramatta next Thursday 5 June 2008 where one lucky Hooters Girl will be crowned Miss Hooters Australia 2008. All Hooters Honey Contest model rounds will consist of two heats; the Hooters Girl Uniform heat and the Hooters Girl Bikini heat with each top Hooters Girl being scored by a panel of judges.

“We’re very excited to be hosting our annual Australian Hooters Honey Contest for the first time at Hooters Cronulla and are confident it’s going to be a fantastic event due to the level of interest and bookings we’ve already taken” says Julia Bayley, Marketing Manager of Hooters Restaurants Australia “we’ve got a fantastic group of Hooters Girls in our company, who are keen to enter the contest and take the next step for their chance to be crowned the coveted Miss Hooters Australia title, it’s just a shame we can’t crown all of our Hooters Girls”.  

Hooters Girls Luiza, Natalye and Charlotte of Hooters Mermaid Beach were chosen as finalists last Thursday night (22 May) by a panel of judges which included Miss Hooters Australia 2007 Verity East, and will compete against the top Hooters Girl finalists from Hooters Cronulla and Hooters Parramatta.

The Hooters Girl crowned Miss Hooters Australia will next be flown to Miami Florida to compete in the 12th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant in July.  Miss Hooters Australia will compete against 120 Hooters Girls from around the world to win the Miss Hooters International Model title and over USD $150,000 in cash and prizes, including their place in the next annual model swimsuit calendar.

Hooters Cronulla, Hooters Mermaid Beach and Hooters Parramatta join more than 435 locations worldwide in over 24 international countries.  Hooters Australia is scheduled to open restaurants in Perth WA, Brisbane QLD and Auckland New Zealand by the end of 2009.
