Lexington Medical Center Foundation Names New Board Member

The Lexington Medical Center Foundation has named Donny Burkett to its board of directors. Mr. Burkett joins the 21 -member board and will serve a three-year term.
 
June 8, 2008 - PRLog -- West Columbia, SC – The Lexington Medical Center Foundation has named Donny Burkett to its board of directors. Mr. Burkett joins the 21 -member board and will serve a three-year term.

“Donny Burkett is an exciting addition to the Board leadership of the Lexington Medical Center Foundation,” says Anthony Meyer, vice president of Development.

Burkett is a partner at Burkett Burkett & Burkett CPAs, P.A., a life long resident of South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  He is also a partner of Burkett Financial Services, LLC and a partner of ResourceOne Health Management Service, LLC, which provides management and tax advice to more than 100 medical practices in South Carolina.  Mr. Burkett serves as the Chairman of the Board of Accountancy; president of Airport High School’s Educational Foundation and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  In addition to his membership, he is a team member of AICPA’s Vision Project which seeks to develop vision and direction for CPAs for the next 15 years.  He has previously served as president of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Central Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, the Cayce/West Columbia Civitan Club and the Cayce Rotary Club.  Mr. Burkett has also been recognized by Money Magazine as one of four best tax practitioners available for middle and upper-middle income taxpayers in South Carolina.
