June 30, 2008 - PRLog -- Investors are turning to inland rural properties for purchase in Bulgaria according to experts at RKK International (www.rkkinternational.com).
With prices having already risen substantially around the coast and the ski resorts, house hunters are on the look-out for rural areas with potential.
One such location is the area around Veliko Turnovo which gives buyers the choice of mountains to the South and rolling countryside to the North.
“We have been aware of this growing market for some years, and this is why we have an office here” says Martyn Watkins, a director of the company,
“There is also an international airport about 30kms outside this beautiful old capital and at present it’s used for cargo but is a prime candidate for international passenger flights in the future. When this happens, the chances are that the market will rise considerably”.
Purchasers of these properties tend to fall into two categories, either people looking for a holiday home but with an eye on investment or people relocating.
Popular villages for purchase in are Kereka to the West, Hotnitsa to the north, Mijkovtsi in the south and Kesarevo to the East.
