Sept. 2, 2008 - PRLog -- News from Sina.com.cn - ShenZhou 7, whose launch time was orignally scheduled in October, will be launched by the end of this mondth, in September 2008. It is expected to be between Beijing Paralympics' closing ceremony (Sept 17th) and China's National Day (Oct 1st).

According to Hong Kong "Wen Wei" newspaper, one of the 3 taikonauts will carry out extravehicular mission, which is going to be China's first extravehicular activity. ShenZhou 7 spacecraft uses a number of new technologies. Gas gate module is developed by China, and the spacesuit is also developed by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), it can support an extra-vehicular activity (EVA) mission of up to seven hours.
