Grandparent’s Day Celebrated By Acclaimed Children’s Artist, Daria

Daria has recorded and released four children’s music CD’s – each one with national awards for their contribution to children’s and multi-cultural music. In 2007, Daria received a Pennsylvania Council On The Arts Arts Commentary Award and a Citation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania  “Commending an Exemplary Record of Service in the Field of Education”.  With a passionate interest in music and community-building, Daria holds a degree in ethnomusicology and is active in Native American, Peace and Children’s and Special Education issues.
