Zorzi New York Opens September 2008

Sept. 8, 2008 - PRLog -- FRANCO AND ALBERTO ZORZI are happy to announce the opening of their first restaurant and cocktail lounge in Manhattan, featuring the Empire State Building District’s only 130-seat, upscale Italian culinary and live entertainment venue located at 1 East 35th Street, situated between Madison and Fifth Avenue.

Zorzi New York Executive Chef Marco Berto, together with Italian Executive Chef Andrea Vecchiato together with Zorzi Foundation culinary experts, has created a seasonal and regional menu of authentic Italian home recipes, reflective of the Zorzi family legacy in Venice and surroundings. The current menu was also developed in collaboration with the Ismerian Institute of Bio-Nutrition in Treviso, Italy.

This sleek contemporary venue by contrast, features a modern yet authentic Venetian cuisine of hand-made delicacies, and is meant to represent all the best aspects of Italian culture and art. The current exhibit by Venetian painter and sculptor Luigi Voltolina was selected by the Zorzi Foundation art consultants.
