Economic Crisis Wake Up Call

Oct. 9, 2008 - PRLog -- America and the world seems engaged on a collision course with an economic maelstrom of Biblical proportions. It almost seems the efforts of man to tame this storm are without effect. God may well be using this economic storm to brings us back where we as Christians belong...on our knees.
For 25 years I've been writing that true Biblical Revival won't and can't break out over this land until the giant idol of Mammon comes crashing down as only the hand of God can do it. We have all been captured to some degree by the culture of the modern Babylon we live in with it's sensuality, prosperity, and greed.
We've suffered as a nation through many trials in recent years but our hearts seem still far from God. 9-11 and other events only seem to break us for the moment without lasting effect. My question is if this financial collapse doesn't profoundly change us...what will? The only thing left is to lose our freedom.
May we all get rid of the idiot box and get on our knees and pray and fast like the early church and I believe we will see the power of God over this land as Christ moves the hearts of millions toward Him as we usher into what may well be the last days before Christ's coming."
