Oct. 27, 2008 - PRLog -- North Wind Publishing will publish the 2009 NOAA Tide Tables and Tidal Current Tables on or about November 14. The four volumes of Tide Tables and two volumes of Tidal Current Tables provide worldwide coverage for the mariner. The NOAA Tide Tables and Tidal Current Tables are the only publications of this data that meet U.S. Coast Guard requirements for use aboard commercial vessels navigating in U.S. waters. The U.S. Coast Guard recommends their use by all navigators, not just operators of commercial vessels. North Wind Publishing has reproduced all of the NOAA tables in their entirety.

The Tide Tables contain daily High and Low Water Predictions for 270 reference ports and 6,530 stations, providing worldwide coverage.

The Tidal Current Tables give the predicted times of slack water and the predicted times and speeds of maximum current (flood and ebb) for each day of the year at numerous stations on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of North America and Asia.
