Kathy A. Conklin has been named an honored member in services by Princeton Premier.

Kathy A. Conklin, executive director of Saginaw County Business and Education Partnership, has been chosen for inclusion in the 2008-2009 Princeton Premier Registry.
 
Nov. 12, 2008 - PRLog -- Kathy A. Conklin is the executive director of Saginaw County Business and Education Partnership, an organization that collaborates with businesses and schools to increase academic achievement and workforce readiness skills within the Saginaw region of Michigan.  Kathy has been in this capacity for nearly seventeen years and is responsible for overseeing all of the day to day operations.  She is an expert on educational development and is well known for her exemplary leadership.  Kathy is a graduate of Leadership Saginaw, and Vision 2020's 1000 Leaders Initiative.  She was selected by National Alliance of Business as the Education Professional of the Year and as Zonta's Woman of the Year.  Kathy is the past chair of the READ organization, an executive committee member of Mid Michigan Children's Museum, and a member of the Saginaw County Promise advisory board. She is a graduate of SVSU and is currently working on her master’s degree in quality management from Eastern Michigan University. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys family, gardening, swimming and reading.
