Bistro Z at Doubletree Hotel Offers Weekend Prix Fixe Menu

Nov. 19, 2008 - PRLog -- Bistro Z, located at the new Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, is introducing its delicious new three-course Weekend Prix Fixe Menu.   This upscale modern American bistro, serving fresh and creative seasonal specialties with a French flair, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In addition to the regular menu, the new Weekend Prix Fixe menu is now being offered every Friday and Saturday evening.  For just $75 per couple, dinner guests can choose from a delectable array of appetizers, entrées and desserts on this specially created menu that changes weekly.

Start off with appetizers like an onion soup gratinee, mesclun salad with blue cheese, toasted walnuts and pears cooked in red wine, a country pate with celery remoulade, cornichons and Dijon mustard, or crab crepe, featuring lump crab with a champagne sauce.

Entrees feature a salmon filet with sautéed spinach, capers and lemon butter sauce; black angus strip steak with potato gratin vegetables and green peppercorn sauce; a New Zealand rack of lamb with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables; farm raised chicken breast with mashed potatoes, vegetables and wild mushroom sauce; or penne pasta with artichoke hearts, garlic and mushrooms.

Conclude your dining experience by indulging in decadent desserts such as New York cheesecake with white chocolate curl, a warm apple tart with vanilla lice cream, a vanilla custard cream with burnt sugar topping or your choice of sorbet or ice cream.
