Pune, 14th November, 2008: Tara Ultimo Pvt. Ltd. today announced the launch of its first store “TARA JEWELS” in Pune in association with Chamadia Enterprises.  This is the first store in Maharashtra.

The store which has been started in association with Chamadia Enterprises has been launched at Kumar Pavilion, East Street.

The Tara Group was established in 1994 in SEEPZ, Mumbai. Currently it has 100,000 sq.ft. of production facilities and exports jewellery to many countries all over the world. The Rs.1243cr Company, (turnover 2007) has won “The International Supplier of the year award” from Walmart, twice. It has also won from “SPZ/EOU COMPLEXES”(SEEPZ) twice.

The company intends to bring international standards to India in the retail segment. This covers quality, value for money, simplicity, transparency and easy transactions etc. They bring the EDI Technology into their store too. Retail store launches in Mumbai and Chandigarh are scheduled shortly. Other earmarked locations are Raipur, Mumbai, Delhi and 2-3 locations in South India.

Tara Ultimo Pvt.Ltd, India’s leading multinational jewellery exporter and the 2 times winners of the “International Supplier of the Year Award” from Wal-mart is bringing its global experience to India. Its brand TARA will carry both, plain gold and studded jewelry.
