First “Security World News” Webcast Launched

Jan. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- With Security World News you can stay up to speed with breaking Home, Business, Personal, and Local Security news, technology, and tips.   The lead story in the SWN Webcast rundown covers “Surveillance Cameras in Michigan”. It’s a controversial endeavor in Flint, Michigan to allow companies to sponsor public security cameras. At a price tag of $30,000 per camera, a company can post their logo on the device. The idea is to get more cameras on the street to watch over the crime ridden parts of the city.  

  Moving on to the “Utah based APX Alarm in Hot Water” story. This past year, APX Alarm has been drowning in complaints by upset customers. Pushy sales tactics and shoddy installations are among some of the complaints. This time the complaints come out of New York and Louisiana. To cover this story, Security World News went straight to the source by interviewing APX Chief Operating Officer Alex Dunn.
