Dodge Park Day Club in Worcester, a private social day and respite program, has recently announced they have extended their adult day care hours to include weekends.
   
Dodge Park Day Club is currently the only facility for adults that offers day care as well as on-site respite services on Saturdays and Sundays.  The program is open to all to elders and their families in the community.  

Weekend hours at Dodge Park’s Day Club are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Extended hours are available as well) Elders who attend the Day Club and respite program will enjoy hot meals and snacks, activities, entertainment and special events.  Dodge Park’s staff ratio is one to every five participants, so your loved ones receive a high level of care and supervision.

“There is a significant demand for adult day care and respite services on the weekends because there are many caregivers who are juggling caregiving, work and family responsibilities.  By expanding our hours, we’re able to provide elders and their families with the peace of mind that they can get the same high level of care on Saturday and Sunday,” noted Micha Shalev, Director of Dodge Park Rest Home and Day Club.
