New "GOING GREEN" Mixtape from the Ashy L Bowz!!!!

Jan. 27, 2009 - PRLog -- In preparation and promotion of their new album, "No Lotion Squared" hip hop group the Ashy L Bowz have been digitally debuting and releasing mixtapes before their album drops this Ash Wednesday February 25th.  The second in this series is their latest project the "Going Green Mixtape". Inspired by their favorite pastime and their popular and hilarious THC TV series "How to Roll / Smoke a Blunt",  the mixtape features classic freestyles as well as unreleased original music, all with a Marijuana Theme.  

Always on the cutting edge of music originality the L Bowz once again bring something different to the table when everyone else is stuck doing the same thing.  "Going Green" is a wonderfully clever representation of the Cannabis from many different points of view and situations. From killing Mary Jane on "Smoke Dat", to praising the quality of their chronic on "High Grade" to even asking a brethren for a lighter on "Get a Light", the Ashy L Bowz can seemingly make great music while still sticking to their topic and theme of choice.

Even for non smokers "Going Green" is a must listen for any hip hop music enthusiast. It features some unlikely musical samples as well as skits that blend well with the subject matter and even a guest appearance from comedian Donnell "Ashy Larry" Rawlings.
If this mixtape is any indication of what we can expect from The Ashy L Bowz sophomore album "No Lotion Squared",  this February 25th (Ash Wednesday) will be a day that hip hop fans of all denominations will feel blessed.
