Jan. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES)  – MagiCubes®, the original line of 3D advertising concepts from Promotional Technologies International (PTI), announces the use of Kodak Staccato® printing.   MagiCubes’® customers will now benefit from Staccato’s® high quality color rendition and clarity for their 3D advertising promotional products.

In addition to quality improvements, PTI chose to implement Staccato® printing due to its overall efficiency and flexibility.  The Staccato® process uses less ink than traditional printing, resulting in more flexibility in design, sharper images and more intense graphic impact.  Additionally, the Staccato® process is much faster, allowing for better performance and speedier production times.  The end result to the MagiCube® customer is a higher quality product in a shorter amount of time.

Specifically, Staccato® screening enables high fidelity, consistent presswork that exhibits fine detail without the common limitations of traditional printing such as jumps in color, lack of shadowing, and grayscale distinctions.  Using Staccato® screening for MagiCubes® printing will provide for unmatched quality and will deliver consistent, reliable, high-impact printing production providing MagicCube® customers with an effective competitive edge with their promotional items.

MagiCubes® are patented 3D Advertising Promotional products for the executive desk that can be manipulated into nine or 12 separate images/messages. These 3D advertising puzzles come in over 30 styles, including such shapes as a soda can, hockey puck, business card, large rectangle, T-shirt and 19-sided pyramids. MagiCubes® can also be used for a variety of desktop functions.  All shapes are 100 percent custom produced for a unique and memorable branding statement on the desktop. This offers an engaging advertising specialty that brings branding to the recipient’s desktop that creates endless impressions while the users fidget away.

“When you look closely at a conventional print, it is merely a collection of dots, aligned in such a way as to create the illusion of tones and hues. Printing with Staccato® is like putting on glasses for the first time.  Suddenly, everything is clearer, more colorful and true to life.  The improvements in color rendition, clarity and detail are truly remarkable. This new printing technology is sought after by advertising agencies and graphic designers.  What this means for the promotional product professional is offering a higher end print advertisng specialty item to those buyers [ad agency print buyers] that appreciate the superb quality in image reproduction,” comments Ron Friedman, CEO of PTI.

“With Staccato, the dots are gone, and in their place is a smooth, near continuous blend of colors.  We are always seeking quality improvements so that our customers’ results stand out from their competitors.  With Staccato printing for MagiCubes our customers’ 3D advertising pieces will jump off the cube, promoting their company in its best image,” continued Friedman.
