Citadel Energy Hires Technical Operations & Logistics ManagersU.S. Navy Veterans Added to Citadel Energy Watford City Team
By: Citadel Energy LLC Adam Powell joins the Citadel team as Manager of Technical Operations where he will oversee the implementation, management and integration of facilities SCADA, PLC, telemetry, flow-measurement systems and security for our saltwater disposals (SWD’s), freshwater sites and planned saltwater gathering systems, as well as assume the role of Radioactive Safety Officer for the company. Adam comes to Citadel by way of San Diego, where he served the last four years as a Surface Warfare Officer, US NAVY. On his last tour onboard USS SAMPSON (DDG 102), he was Department Head and the ship’s Navigation Officer, responsible for all movements of a $1.8B Warship. Prior to the USS Sampson, he served on the Destroyer USS PINCKNEY (DDG 91) as Assistant Chief Engineer responsible for the training of 350 sailors in shipboard emergencies, and supervising 20 experts in care for all main propulsion and electrical power equipment. Adam received a B.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Elizabeth Powell joins the Citadel team as Manager of Logistics and Planning where she will be responsible for the scheduling of new projects, assisting Citadel H2O, the company’s freshwater provisioner, with water transfers, asset deliveries and storage, as well as coordinating all movements for planned new-builds through the construction group. She will also work closely with Citadel’s geology department and Citadel H2O on strategic mapping amongst her many other duties. Elizabeth most recently served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US NAVY as Assistant Operations & Schedules Officer for Destroyer Squadron Two Six, responsible for the planning and management of 10 Destroyers and Frigates’ training and deployment schedules. Prior to this, she served on the Destroyer USS PINCKNEY (DDG 91) as Division Officer & Public Affairs Officer responsible for leading 20 personnel. Elizabeth has her B.A. in History/Political Science and French from King University.
