Follow on Google News | Colorado Designer Picked To Design Pins For InauguralColorado jewelry designer Heide Lasher has been selected by the Presidential Inagural Committee to design lapel pins for the January 20, 2009 inauguration of President Barack Obama.
By: Ken Toltz Heide Lasher had previously designed and marketed a very unique rhinestone “Obama Hope” pin, introduced at last summer’s Democratic National Convention in Denver. The “Obama Hope” rhinestone pin was approved for sale by the Obama for America campaign last summer and has been acknowledged by “thank you” letters from both Michelle and Barack Obama. The pin became one of the most unique and collectible momentos of the campaign due to its design and quality presentation of the now famous Obama Hope logo. The Colorado Democratic Party will feature Heide’s Inaugural Souvenir pins at its upcoming Inaugural Balls in Denver and Washington, D.C. The party will offer the pins as an incentive for Democratic Party donations. -END- # # # We design and sell patriotic jewelry and Obama campaign/inaugural commemorative pins.
