Cheyney University's Expects Recordbreaking Numbers for Open House

March 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Cope Hall, visitors will meet and greet with admissions staff who will be waiving the $20 application for the day. Interested applicants should bring their completed application, official high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and two letters of recommendation.

The day-long activities will include performances from Cheyney University’s own Concert Choir and Band. Guests can expect a day full of valuable information regarding the various student aid opportunities and more.

Interested students will also have an opportunity to take a tour and speak with various academic departments of their choice.  And on-site admissions will be offered.

Cheyney University of Pennsylvania is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). Now celebrating its 25th year, PASSHE comprises Pennsylvania’s 14 public universities, with a combined enrollment of more than 112,500, making it the largest provider of higher education in the Commonwealth. The 14 PASSHE universities offer degree and certificate programs in more than 120 areas of study.  Approximately 405,000 PASSHE alumni live and work in Pennsylvania.
