Dr. Laureen Wishom and Crystal Brown-Tatum Named as Texas Blazing Star Award Finalists

April 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Houston based businesswomen Dr. Laureen Wishom and Crystal Brown-Tatum have been named finalist for the 2009 Blazing Star Award given by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Texas. The Blazing Star Award will be given to celebrate the achievements of remarkable Texas women at a luncheon on April 8, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Austin, Texas.

Mrs. Crystal Brown-Tatum is the CEO and President of Crystal Clear Communications; a Houston based advertising agency and public relations firm. She is an Honors College graduate of The University of Houston with a B.A. in Radio-Television and was a recipient of the 2005 Emerging-10 award sponsored by the Houston Minority Business Council, a 2006 Women on the Move recipient from Texas Executive Women. In addition, she received a Texas Senate Commendation for her community service and was awarded a Distinguished Achievement Award from the City of San Antonio Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission.
Dr. Laureen Wishom is the Chief Solutionary Officer of Masterpiece Solutions LLC. Dr. Wishom holds a Ph.D. in Psychology/Christian Counseling, a Master’s degree in Psychology/Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in General Education.
