May 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Health & Safety Institute (HSI) and National Traffic Safety Institute (NTSI) announced today a partnership between the two national training organizations to offer expanded education and training opportunities in the areas of driver safety and emergency care. The partnership will increase the offerings of both organizations by delivering courses through both HSI and NTSI instructor networks.

NTSI’s programs are primarily used to satisfy defensive driving requirements, insurance reduction, ticket dismissal, and driver improvement for individuals as well as companies and organizations nationwide.

HSI training programs help fulfill regulatory requirements for professional rescuers and educate the general community in CPR, AED, and first aid care.

“We recognize NTSI’s leadership in the driver safety and improvement industry and are pleased to be partnering with them to broaden the range of training programs available through both HSI and NTSI Training Centers. The natural synergy between our companies and our course offerings provides great benefit to our collective customers by providing a more complete training solution,” says Craig Aman, Vice President of Sales.

The pairing of these industry experts allows clients the opportunity to access one resource for their emergency care and driver safety training needs. With offices throughout the country, HSI and NTSI provide online, onsite, and tailored training solutions. Bundles, packages, and discounts will be offered by both organizations. Instructors currently certified with either agency will remain recognized as a certified trainer.

“NTSI’s partnership with Health & Safety Institute in delivering high quality education is intended to provide a safer driving and living environment for our clients. Our combined expertise in the fields of emergency care education and modifying driving behavior will in the long term reduce morbidity and mortality among those who participate in our class room and online learning environments. Our combined services will raise the bar on health and safety education.” said Paul Hallums, NTSI President.

About NTSI: Over 400,000 individuals rely on NTSI annually for driver improvement programs throughout the country. In addition to a wide range of specialty programs, including Law Enforcement and Fire Service, NTSI has also developed and implemented the US Army Safety Training Program.
