By: Star Time News Gary Lewis will set the tone with his foreword for the highly charged, emotional study of Suzan Lewis' life, and her search for her identity. The former New York debutaunte, and teenage socialite's life story reads like a rollercoaster ride. After a fairy tale childhood, she was left disabled as an adult due to a nearly fatal automobile accident in the 1990s. More recently Suzan Lewis has been homeless, due to her inability to work. In March of 2009, Gary Lewis stuned his family and the showbusiness world by submitting to a DNA test with the results disclosed on TV's Inside Edition. The first born son of entertainer Jerry Lewis told the national TV audience that, "Everyone deserves to know who they are and where they came from." The test results were conclusive and verified what 57 year old Suzan Lewis has known since her mother broke the news to her in 1976; She and Gary Lewis and brother and sister, and her biological father is comedian Jerry Lewis. Suzan Lewis will use her family name to raise awareness about the homeless and disabled in the USA. She will tour on the speakers circuit and perform in comedy clubs as a way to carry her important message around the country. Although Jerry Lewis accepted Suzan as his daughter while they were together in Paris, France in 1980, be has flatly refused to respond to her recent attempts to communicate with him.
