May 21, 2009 - PRLog -- ORLANDO, FL — Orlando-based Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, near-duplicate detection, regeneration and export of native electronic files, announced that it has hired Katie Kunsman as Director of Business Development for U.S.-based small and midsize law firms and Canadian law firms and service providers.

Kunsman will consult with prospective clients on best practices of managing electronically stored information (ESI) along with implementing Wave Software’s flagship e-discovery product, Trident Pro, into their current workflow processes.  The recent launch of near-duplicate detection can be performed in multiple Trident Pro modules including File de-duplication, Email de-duplication, Filter/Merge/Split, and Native Review Bridge. Discovering near-duplicate data allows law firms and corporations to streamline their e-discovery and review process, reduce risk, increase document review productivity, and significantly reduce discovery costs.

“We are excited to have Katie join our sales team at Wave Software,” stated Robert Childress, President of Wave Software. “Her legal and customer service experience will enable us to provide additional client support and will allow growth of our sales team as we expand our software offerings in the legal industry. “

Prior to joining Wave Software, Kunsman was a legal assistant for the Law Offices of Mark S. Spangler in Florida. She also spent more than six years selling accounting, library database and other software applications. She received her bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Nova Southeastern University. Kunsman will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida.
