U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Paul W. Grimm to Present at Wave University Webinar

Grimm of the District Court for the District of Maryland.

It was Judge Grimm’s experience with numerous cases that led him to participate in the Maryland Protocol along with members of the Bar of this Court and technical consultants. The proposed protocol states, “The purpose of this Suggested Protocol for Discovery of Electronically Stored Information (the “Protocol”) is to facilitate the just, speedy, and inexpensive conduct of discovery involving ESI in civil cases, and to promote, whenever possible, the resolution of disputes regarding the discovery of ESI without Court intervention.”

U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Paul W. Grimm is the appointed United States Chief Magistrate Judge for the District Court for the District of Maryland. Grimm is a frequent speaker on e-discovery and has written numerous books and articles on evidence, procedure and trial practice, and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore Schools of Law.
