Wonder how things work so easy for others and not for you on the Internet? I will tell you. The ones that say its easy and inexpensive or free, ARE LYING .  

It might not be easy for anyone on the internet these days. If you operate and maintain a web presence for selling merchandise such as Island Heat Imports, Inc. you may find yourself in Big Trouble making the right decisions. You have seen them everywhere, Get Free traffic, GET Quality web visitor, , Reach Millions Of Prospects Searching For What You Sell, increase your website visitors  and thousands more. Thursday 06/11/2009 Google * free website traffic* and the search returns over 60 million results.  

More times than most I find myself reading 5 hours a day all the ad’s and synergisms that are in front of me each day telling me how to make money using their internet services. The plug is always the same IT WILL COST YOU NOTHING. The truth is said in the Nothing part of each statement for all of those ad titles.

To most of the fortune seekers online every day and the small businesses that are trying to succeed have no other option than to try them. So $5.00 - $50.00 for a company like ours is nothing in the big scheme of things. I find myself each day trying a number of different ways to drive traffic, seeking buyers we need finding the products they use and need.

We spend more than we make a lot of times but I am assured someday we will make it. So everyday out comes the credit card 2 and 3 and 4 time a day trying to find the right INTERNET TRAFFIC that I am being promised in each ad I signed up for. So how long can someone continue to afford all the expense?

We all have quarks when it comes to doing things but I have learned to check out all these companies now before I even consider them.  The first thing I do is go to www.alexa.com  the URL traffic specialists. I check the traffic and the ranking and lastly the links and partners of the company I am considering on using.  Then I set my own prices for the ad’s that I sign up for. If their ranking is not 100,000 or less for a traffic ad I ignore it. How can someone send me quality traffic if they do not have the traffic themselves? Now for the want ad placement sites they must have a traffic rank of 300,000 or less for me to consider them. Why advertise my products for sale with a want ad site that has no traffic themselves. Even though most want ad sites are free their banking on you to advertise with them so they can count on your traffic. Google and Yahoo are very simple with their traffic and ad placement you get to set your base to an amount of traffic that you are willing to spend each day.

It really is a Jungle out there these days. I find myself testing everything out there for my selling sites, www.islandheat.com, using the power of eBay, Bonanzle, iOffer and many more. That seems to be the working formula for me now. I sell my stuff using the power of other selling site and have them pay for the traffic to keep the consumers flowing through my online stores. I have now 20 selling sites that I rely on for their traffic and customer base. Combine that with  26 of the most High ranking want ad sites I now get a big bang for my buck. It certainly is not easy but it is defiantly worth all the time it takes.

So I ask you as an individual and a company with selling sites on the World Wide Web what are we all to do? What is the price for success? I will tell you………….
