Follow on Google News | Print Publishing For Business Comunication Becomes Obsolete?Has print publishing become obsolete? The recent outburst of digital technology has changed many things. In the first place it has affected the way people deal with information.
By: Joris Peters In our days, without debate, print publishing loses rapidly its value and attraction as a mean of business to customer communication. Print publishing requires complex machines, expensive paper, ink, large teams of professional workers, storage space. It requires distribution networks, trucks, gasoline and drivers. And it cannot be delivered instantly. The marketing value of printed media decreases also, because it provides only a limited amount of information to the customer and lacks such an important feature as the possibility of a direct feed back between the customer and the company. In today’s fast and digitalized world print publishing has become far too expensive and far too slow. Its ability to satisfy the needs of both the publisher and the reader is today much less, than it used to be before. On the other hand – there is digital publishing, which does not require any printing lines, tons of paper, large teams of skilled people, storage space to keep it or trucks, gasoline and drivers to have it delivered to the customer. Al what is required, is just a PC and some online publishing software. And you can make as many copies of your e-zines, brochures, news letters or whatever, as you like at no additional cost and you can deliver it instantly to your readers. Digital publishing is the easiest way for your company to make communication with your customers cheap, fast and really efficient. Learn more about at http://jorispeters.wordpress.com End
