North Carolina’s Rain follows up with a sequel, American Dreamin’: Part 2 drops July 7th, 2009

June 24, 2009 - PRLog -- New York- Rain, one of the newest and more dominant forces in Hip Hop returns with Part 2 to the original American Dreamin' street album, American Dreamin' 2 (Money Over Fame) is to be released through http://www.xclusiveszone.net on July 7th, 2009.    This time he brings together DJ Don Cannon along with other production greats like Nottz & Buckwild to create a unique but yet familiar sound, echoing the Golden Era. Don Cannon and Rain have built a specific rapport off of respect and hard work. “Rain isn’t just an average rapper. He takes time to think about what he says and he constructs a song; that’s why I like working with him. We made a classic tape when we dropped “Highly Un-Anticipated” so it was only right for us to hook up for “American Dreamin’ 2.” Don Cannon, who works with superstars like Young Jeezy and Ludacris has a reputation of breaking the next big thing in music.

Nottz and Buckwild- both award winning producers prominently featured on AD2, and set the pace for an EP composed of street lyrics and hard beats from beginning till the end.  Rain explains that, “the album contains 14 original joints, no fillers. Don’t look for a crossover radio record because it’s not on here. I did this for people who listen to hard beats and lyrics.
