By: Dharma Subhashita Friend and foe, acceptance and rejection, self and no-self, self-gratification and self-mortification, theism and atheism - usually we drift to one extreme or the other. The Buddha taught the Middle Way that is free from the traps of all such extremes. This forms the heart of the Buddha's teachings. It is a path of clear discernment beyond dogmas. It is a path of skilful method conjoined with wisdom. In his teaching Khen Rinpoche will elucidate the middle-way of the Buddha. This will include the relevance of the Middle-way in daily life as well as in the journey to awakening. Rinpoche will teach about the Great Middle Way doctrine of emptiness. The distinctions of Nyingma tradition with regard to the Middle Way will be discussed. Rinpoche will also guide us through "the four essential meditations on the Middle Way".
