Artist John Palmer Selected for the My Houston Campaign

July 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Houston abstract painter John Palmer is the latest native of the Space City to join the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau's My Houston campaign!  John Palmer is most humbled to be selected to be a part of this historic campaign which is aimed at pointing out the highlights of the Bayou City by some of the city's most well-known native sons and daughters.

When John Palmer was asked about his "favorite Houston spots," he answered by including both the Rotko Chapel and the Menil Collection.  Artist John Palmer constantly tries to improve himself through positive imagery and meditation and both of these serene and beautiful locations provide the ideal atmosphere for his mental transcendence.  John Palmer ranks Tony's as his absolute favorite place to dine by remarking, "the food is the best in the world, along with the impeccable service." He also honestly admits that as a fifth generation Texan and third generation Houstonian, nothing really surprises him about the great city of Houston.  John Palmer only pridefully states that he "is constantly overwhelmed and proud of the citizens of Houston’s courage and fortitude amidst a crisis, creation of creative business opportunities in an economic crunch and the diversity and acceptance of people from all walks of life."
