Kenwood Usa Corporation Appoints New President

July 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Mr. Kobayashi comes to Kenwood USA after working for Kenwood Corporation for over 30 years, 11 of those years spent at Kenwood USA in key sales and product development roles.  Prior to returning to Kenwood USA, Mr. Kobayashi was President of Kenwood Electronics Technologies Malaysia (KETM).

“I am very pleased to return to Kenwood USA and I look forward to working with my staff in developing new strategies and programs that will address the difficulties of the U.S. economy,” said Mr. Kobayashi.  “Kenwood has a very strong reputation in the U.S., and my goal is to build upon this reputation through strong product leadership and solid business practices.”

Mr. Kobayashi succeeds Shoichiro “Scott” Eguchi, who is returning to Japan after a very successful 4 years as President of Kenwood USA.  Mr. Eguchi has been appointed Senior Vice President for J&K Car Electronics Corporation and will be in charge of aftermarket mobile electronics business development for the Kenwood and JVC brands.
