July 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Robin Cho knew from an early age that she wanted to become an actress, acting out her favorite characters to anyone who would pay attention to her.  Her bouncy, bubbly personality made her very popular in school   Her parents realized her talent and enrolled her in acting classes.  No one was surprised when she landed a National commercial and modeled for several print ads.  After realizing how serious she was about acting, her family readjusted their lives to accommodate the rigorous schedule she has embarked upon.

Robin’s Manager,  Bogdon Szumilas (ISA TM) introduced her to Publicist Deborah Hayter who brought her to the attention of Suzanne DeLaurentiis.  Suzanne is a 30 year veteran of filmmaking and recipient of  numerous awards for her contributions to the film industry.   After a brief meeting with Robin, Deborah set up an audition.  Suzanne immediately enrolled Robin in the mentorship program.  Shortly thereafter, Robin was accepted into the very prestigious Milikin School for the Performing Arts in Sherman Oaks, California.  Next her family moved from the small community of Palos Verdes, a hundred mile plus drive to Studio City and North Hollywood where most of the commercial and film auditions are held.  This also meant that she would be close to her acting and vocal coach.

Her parents (both born in Seoul Korea) realize the value of a good education and demands that Robin maintain good grades.  She has always been at the top of her class academically and adds balance to her life as a skilled black belt in tae kwon do.   Although her parents wholeheartedly support her decision to become an actress in America, they are proud of their Korean Heritage, speaking their first language at home and staying connected to current events taking place in Korea.

Robin also takes pride in her Korean heritage and while being interviewed on a local television station spoke in both English and Korean.  She recently starred in a short film called “Deceit” produced by Suzanne DeLaurentiis.   “Robin is one of my most gifted students, she has the talent and desire to become a successful actress.  I know that she will do well in the United States as well as abroad.” Said Suzanne.  This young lady has the discipline and talent to become a successful actress.   The short has brought her recognition opportunities that challenge her acting abilities.  She is also being recognized for her vocal talents, recently landing a part in a musical in the fall.

This talented young lady has very clear goals about her future, to become a very good actress.  She would also like to star in a role that will require her to speak her ancestral language.  “I would like to act in a movie that will be made in Korea one day” said Robin.  “I am from a culture of hard working, creative people who are also known for their art and family values.  I want to show the world that I am a proud actress and an extremely proud Korean.
