July 25, 2009 - PRLog -- East Bridgewater, MA - Special Kindness in Packages Inc. (SKIP), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has recently partnered with author, Jarrod Sadulski, to help provide educational books to military members serving overseas.

“Achieving Your Educational Goals While in Military Service” was written by Jarrod Sadulski, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, to help military members earn their college degree faster and easier. It is applicable to all five branches of the military and was written from his personal experiences using the education resources available for military members.

To get the books into care packages, SKIP and Sadulski are offering a link on their websites to have books purchased for donation. Once the book is received by SKIP, a donation receipt will be sent to the buyer to be applied to their taxes.

“It has been said that up to 80% of enlisted military members do not use the college education benefits that are available to them, often because the programs are bureaucratic and difficult to navigate through. This book helps service members understand the education benefits that they are eligible for and displays each step that members need to take to earn the college degree they deserve through their service,” said Sadulski.

SKIP sends specialized entertainment care packages, or “Fun in a Box”, to overseas military members. “Although dubbed educational, Jarrod's book is a welcome addition in SKIP care packages. We (SKIP leadership) feel that education should be fun, and therefore, when Jarrod asked if we could help get his book to our deployed troops we immediately said yes,” Spoerke said. SKIP care packages also include items like music, movies, and card games.

In addition to his military service, Jarrod Sadulski has a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working on his PhD in Business Management. He is also a part-time college professor.
