The Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival Closes in Style with 'The Tenant'

Aug. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- The 2009 Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival is an annual juried competition and showcase for independent film makers from all over the world.

Its mission is to enable emerging and established filmmaking community and audience to experience the power of the African American and African Diaspora.

It came to us as no surprise as The Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival has selected “The Tenant” as the 2009 MABFF Closing Night Film on Saturday, September 19 at the Attucks Theatre in Norfolk Virginia.

“The Tenant” which has been gaining recent publicity in various parts of Canada, The United States and Nigeria, is the “must-see-movie” of the year.

Already it has been featured in Thisday Newspaper, 234Next Newspaper and more to come...

“The Tenant” is a fantastic movie put together by Broken Manacles Entertainments’ Jude Idada & Lucky Ejim. The movie has gone ahead to win the Viewers Choice Awards Recipient for the Hollywood Black Film Festival and has been nominated at other Film Festivals.
