Aug. 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Pegeen.com is launching its’ annual nation-wide search for their next great flower girl of the year who will be featured in an upcoming advertising campaign set to premier in spring 2010 – timed for the launch of the custom flower girl dressmakers innovative new “Pegeen Dress Dreamer” customized design tool.

Pegeen has always used the contributions by their real brides and parents and their wonderful photographers on their website, featuring them in various sections such as Weddings By Color, Pegeen Raves & Testimonials and What Others Have Done.
"After a wedding or special event is over, we ask the parent or bride to send in their photos and for us, it’s like opening presents on Christmas Day.  Once a photo is submitted, all of us gather around the screen to see the very latest dress we custom created come alive on a child.  Sometimes it’s a girl and many times, a boy,” said Pegeen® CMO Jim Frank. "We then will ask the parent or guardian to submit more photographs when a particular child catches our eye.  

A previous model was a lovely dancer of just 10 years and we used her for our first commercial on TV as well as our magazine ads.  Since then, and because there are so many beautiful children submitted, we have begun to narrow our final choices down to just 3 children each year."

During Pegeen’s® search, the company will feature on their website a series on their site assisting their brides in managing the needs of their littlest bridal party members and tips for their special day.  These ideas are also shared in Pegeen’s Blog.  

The competition will culminate with the winner being flown to Orlando to shoot a photo spread and television commercial for Pegeen.com. No one will know who the winner will be until the contest finale in March 2010 which will be timed with the company’s 28th Year Anniversary.
