Aug. 20, 2009 - PRLog -- This much sought landmark bill was passed in parliament on Tuesday 4th August 2009. This will now allow all concerned to take legal action against parents or guardians who refuse to send their children to school. India as a nation has shown a strong political will in passing this bill and has now joined a select global club, stating our intentions of getting every child between 6 to 14 to school. The Bill has taken all the constituents into account while coding the law. The Government has to provide better infrastructure and environment to sustain the growing demands of education, the educational institutions have to look beyond their conventional role to accommodate more students for better world and Society and NGOs have to be aware of this that education is compulsory and those who refuse to accept this will be subjected to legal actions.
The most important aspects of the bill is that it symbolizes the political will of the national government towards the education and the same has been conveyed in the code of ethics published by CCLP Worldwide to convince government toward more sustainable future through availing education.
