Sept. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Denver, Colorado – From the tickets to the food, Colorado event organizers of the endOtrend festival taking place October 3, 2009 from 10am – 10pm, have pulled out all of the stops to make this the “first truly altruistic sustainable art, film and music festival in the country.” Partnering with the Auraria Sustainable Campus Program, Groundwork Denver, Metro Volunteers and Bands for Lands, endOtrend has developed a program that infuses local, eco-friendly and sustainable practices with the community, volunteerism, and education.

The endOtrend full-day program includes performances by a list of local and national bands including: Edie Sedgwick, The Heavenly States, Marai Daiko, Navajo Skies Dance and the Boulder Acoustic Society. The festival will also feature art from local artists and topical films and documentaries. The creators of endOtrend have implemented unique features to this festival that will truly make it one of a kind such as their “Ticket Tees,” to eliminate paper and plastic waste and encourage local venues to “Green the Scene.” Also unique to this festival is the “Ecotainment Zone,” an interactive area teaching children about planting trees, gardening, the environment and ways to produce new energy.

EndOtrend is an opportunity for the public to become involved in local and sustainable entertainment, earth-friendly practices and ways to contribute to the community at large. Everyone is welcome to attend and can find eco-conscious “Ticket-Tees” available at the event website or interested parties can sign up to participate as a volunteer and receive free entrance to the festival.
