Nissan Diesel America Announces Expansion of Dealer Group

Oct. 19, 2009 - PRLog -- Nissan Diesel America, Inc. (NDA) announced the addition of eight new dealerships to the UD TRUCKS dealer network in a statement today from its Headquarters in Irving, Texas.  “ Our long-term strategy for growth calls for an agressive expansion of the dealer group, and we’re excited to be working with some of the best commercial truck dealers in the United States”,  said Evan Smith,  Vice President of Sales.  

The company has plans to increase its market share in the COE segment, and at the same time broaden its vocational business base.  “In the coming years, our dealers will work with a wide variety of companies that manufacture truck-mounted equipment for road maintenance , street sweepers, asphalt layment and road surface repair, as an example.  We’ll help our dealers focus on the refuse and recycling market, both private and municipal where the benefits of COE design are important to the end user.  At the same time, we’ll maintain our time-honored involvement with the towing and recovery, refrigerated transport and general delivery truck markets, and these new UD TRUCKS Dealers will be our partners in that effort”, said Smith.

   Gilchrist Chevrolet – Tacoma, Washington

   Truck and Equipment Corp. – Harrisonburg, Virginia
   Valley Truck Center – Laredo, Texas
   Mirak Truck Center – Arlington, Massachusetts
