Nov. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- A romantic alternative to the traditional wedding venue , it provides a magical backdrop for your special day. Ceremonies are held in elegant suites overlooking exotic animals and receptions range from Rainforest Lookouts to Animal Kingdoms.

Weddings
ZSL London Zoo holds a civil ceremony license for the Mappin Pavilion which holds up to 90 guests, together with the Prince Albert Suite holding up to 260 guests.
The Mappin boasts 360 degree views through floor to ceiling windows and from the terrace looks out over graceful Australian ‘Outback’ animals in their Grade II listed enclosure.

The Prince Albert Suite's main feature is its tranquil lawn and private terrace, together with its stunning grandeur and decor.

Our wedding specialists can be involved as much or as little as you like, and our chefs look forward to designing a bespoke menu exclusively for your guests.

Civil Partnerships
ZSL London Zoo is also proud to offer the perfect location for a civil partnership.
Why not choose our Mappin Pavilion to say ‘I do’, followed by drinks and canapés in the Komodo dragon and Galapagos tortoise houses, before returning to the Pavilion for a fork buffet, barbecue or seated dinner?

Dancing is available here and in the Prince Albert Suite until midnight, with extensions until 2am for the nocturnals among you.

Receptions
Couples usually get married at ZSL London Zoo because it's a unique and fun setting, not to mention a worthwhile cause.

Nothing shows off these factors like an animal house reception! These are available for 1.5 or 3 hours after the Zoo closes, and can be booked individually or with a suite where the ceremony would be held.
