PHILADELPHIA,PA  - -   The Omni Hotel at Independence Park in Old City is hosting a Nutcracker Brunch Saturday, December  19, 2009,  with Pennsylvania Ballet featuring a spectacular brunch for adults and children, a visit from Santa, the Sugarplum Fairy and the Mouse King from Pennsylvania Ballet’s the Nutcracker and premier reserved seating at Philadelphia’s most loved holiday tradition!

The Nutcracker Brunch at the Omni Hotel at Independence Park is a wonderful gift to give yourself and your family this season.

Gather together for what has been noted as Philadelphia’s Best Brunch featuring  a wide array of dishes to select from on the buffet from smoked salmon, shrimp salad, smoked trout, white fish salad to herb crusted roasted rack of lamb, slow roasted beef  tenderloin,  or oven roasted turkey. Delicious hot favorites include Maple Walnut Crusted Salmon , tri-colored tortellini with sun dried tomato and pesto sauce or farfalle with wild mushrooms, spinach, and roasted pepper sauce,  grilled chicken topped with fennel garlic reduction sauce, and vegetable du Jour.

Appetizers and salad offerings include Shrimp & Crab Fruit De Mer, California Sushi Roll, Asian Noodle Salad, Russian Potato Salad, Caesar Salad, and fresh sliced fruit, as well as grilled seasonal vegetables infused with extra virgin olive oil and fresh herbs.
