VALLEY FORGE, PA - - The Embassy Suites in Valley Forge will be hosting a sweet afternoon on Sunday, December 6, from 2 to 4p.m.  that includes holiday cookie decorating, hot chocolate, entertainment by Sally’s Music Circle, raffle prizes, a visit from the man of the season – Santa himself and much more all to benefit Mommy’s Light.

“We are so appreciative of the Embassy Suites Valley Forge to host this fundraiser for us,” said Laura Munts, Executive Director of Mommy’s Light, “The support from the hotel and the community as a whole is wonderful. The tradition-rich holidays are one of our busiest times of year and this is a wonderful opportunity for families to have fun and help a great cause at the same time.”

Mommy’s Light brings joy and comfort to children and teens by helping them keep alive traditions and simple pleasures they shared with their mothers.  For more information visit www.mommyslight.org.

The festivities include decorating fresh baked sugar cookies with an array of goodies, dancing, singing and playing to the music of Sally’s Music Circle, hot chocolate, visits from special guests including Santa, raffle prizes for items such as overnights stays, signed sports memorabilia, theater tickets and more. The cost for the event is $15 for one adult and one child. Additional children are $5 and additional adults are $7. Each attendee will receive two oversized cookies to decorate and bring home or eat as an afternoon treat!

“We are thrilled to work with Mommy’s Light on this project. We welcome the opportunity to help the community in which we are based and they are a remarkable organization committed to maintaining family traditions. What better a season to carry on and celebrate traditions than in December,” said Paul Farnell General Manager of the Embassy Suites Valley Forge.
