PRLog -- Abrakadoodle remarkable art education is pleased to announce the launch of its Kids Imagination Project (KIP), a multi-month campaign that seeks to obtain and feature original art created by children worldwide. Children’s artwork is pouring in from around the globe, and each piece is as unique as its young creator. The theme for artwork produced for this inaugural campaign is “Imagine.”
All children are invited to submit postcard art to Abrakadoodle. Visit Abrakadoodle’
s KIP page on the web for easy instructions regarding how to participate:

“We’ve been looking for a way to capture and celebrate children’s creativity,”
commented Mary Rogers, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Abrakadoodle, Inc. “Creativity is considered something of an abstraction, and so we designed KIP to reveal some of the creative ideas and images that reside in children’s imaginations through their own art works and will share this wonderful postcard art for all the world to appreciate.”
At participating Abrakadoodle locations throughout the United States, as well as Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan, children can participate in KIP workshops during which they will be inspired by an Abrakadoodle lesson to create their own original mini work of art on a postcard. Blank postcards are also available in limited quantities at participating Abrakadoodle locations and are available for download via Abrakadoodle’
s website.
Completed postcard art can be mailed in or dropped off at participating Abrakadoodle locations and will be shipped to Abrakadoodle’
s world headquarters in Reston, Virginia. Select children’s creative postcard art will be featured weekly on Abrakadoodle’
s blog, “Art for Creative Kids” –
http://www.abrakadoodle.com/blog. All artwork will be displayed in photo albums on Abrakadoodle’
s Facebook Fan page:

s annual national conference in May 2010.
Abrakadoodle was co-founded in 2002 by award-winning educator/franchise developer Mary Rogers, MA.Ed, and children’s services franchising expert Rosemarie Hartnett, CFE. The winner of seven Nickelodeon Parents' Picks Awards for 2009, Abrakadoodle is the most comprehensive art education company of its kind and offers extensive visual arts classes, in-school field trips, camps and parties for children ages 20 months to 12 years old. Abrakadoodle’
s programs inspire children’s imaginations by immersing them in such art forms as painting, sculpting, mosaics, collage, digital photography, paper and fabric art, stamping, sketching, anime, studio art, foil embossing, and more. Children learn about master and contemporary artists, art forms, techniques, as well as develop a fine arts vocabulary and learn art history. The magic behind Abrakadoodle is the creative energy between a child and his/her art materials ignited by a well-trained teacher. Abrakadoodle uses safe, high quality art materials in its classes in partnership with Crayola®. The imaginative curriculum is developed by artists and educators and exceeds National Standards for Visual Arts Education. For further program information, go to
