Follow on Google News | Texas Scottish Rite Hospital For Children Names Sharon Ellis Chief Financial OfficerTexas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children announces the election of Sharon Ellis as vice president and chief financial officer for the non-profit Texas pediatric orthopedic hospital.

C. Montgomery, Jr., president of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. “With Sharon’s impressive background, she will keep us financially sound so we can continue this great work.” Ellis has been active in corporate finance and banking for more than 20 years. Prior to joining TSRHC, Ellis was treasurer of Texas Industries (TXI) where she oversaw corporate finance and capital market functions. She also served as chief financial officer of The Container Store, a specialty retailer. Additional previous experience includes 10 years with Bank of America’s Corporate Finance group and serving as senior vice president at JPMorgan Chase Bank. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ellis earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University and a master’s in business administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (formerly American Graduate School of International Management). Ellis is on the board of directors of the Dallas Chapter of Financial Executives International and is a member of the Junior League of Dallas. She also serves on the board of directors of the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, where she previously served as chairman and as a member of the executive committee for Baylor Health Care System’s Caduceus Society. Ellis has also served on the board of directors of the Arthritis Foundation, North Texas Chapter; Women in the Home Industry Today; and Furniture Fellowship. She is a guest lecturer at MBA programs at The University of Texas at Dallas and University of Houston on corporate finance, capital markets, corporate governance and investments.
