Stephen Wain elected to IBBA Board of Directors

Dec. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Stephen Wain, President of Calder Associates, was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) for a three year term effective November 20, 2009.

The IBBA is the de-facto worldwide professional organization for Business Brokers and Intermediaries. With chapters and affiliates around the world, the IBBA provides education, legal and legislative support, and professional certification for members.  IBBA members are unique, with Certified Business Intermediaries (CBI's) possessing advanced education in areas such as accounting, tax, law, deal structuring, and negotiations. An independent sister organization, the M&A Source, is dedicated to Merger and Acquisition professionals who've reached a higher plateau of deal making, and work with companies in the middle market for higher level transactions. The M&A Source awards the certification of Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI) to those individuals who've attained the distinction of higher education and completed certain high level transactions. Worldwide, there are less than 100 M&AMI's.

Steve is both a CBI and an M&AMI, working with clients of all sizes. Steve is also the Chairman of the IBBA's Technology Committee and is responsible for the IT strategy and rebuilding of the organization's worldwide infrastructure.
