Elijah's Single Don't U Wanna Man Climbs To #1 On WGPR

Jan. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Once again, Detroit's Rising R&B Sensation Elijah Connor is managing to do what many said was impossible.  Reaching #1 on WGPR's Top 7 at 5 Countdown with Radio Personality Mike Alan on January 6th of this year, he proving that he belongs on the platform with other major R&B acts.

Following Elijah's extensive on air interview on The New 107.5 WGPR's mid-day personality Sylvia Simone where she debuted Don't U Wanna Man on the station for the first time it was added the next day.  It debuted on the countdown at #7 which begins nightly at 5:00 pm after 1 week due to high request.  After two weeks it has rapidly climbed to #1 to the delight of Millions of listeners of the station that are excited to have another R&B crooner from the Motor City take the spot in the lime light!  And Elijah is definitely taken the lead, this week being featured in the prestigious pages as a feature story in the prominent "NATIVE DETROITER MAGAZINE" where Elijah is described as Detroit's Rising R&B Sensation.  Elijah Connor, dubbed in Detroit as The Prince of R&B is definitely here to make a statement ...
