Savannah Wedding Experts Sharing Trade Secrets With Brides

Jan. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Donna Von Bruening, of DVB Photographers has joined Savannah Wedding Industry Experts together to offer brides an alternative wedding planning experience to the sales-oriented bridal show.

Evening With The Experts:  the inside guide for bridesTM is an educational and inspirational dinner program designed to remove the mystery behind planning a wedding.  The event is being hosted at the Mansion on Forsyth Park, 700 Drayton St., on Thursday, January 28 from 5:30-9:30pm.

After 12 years in the wedding business, Donna and her colleagues often found themselves coaching brides through difficult decisions regarding budgets, contracts, vendor reputations and how to evaluate options and manage priorities.

“A wedding is one of the largest expenditures for a celebration a couple or family will undertake. While there are endless places to turn for color schemes and themes, there is no resource for sound advice on the navigating the contracts, product quality and services, prioritizing budgets and timelines and managing family.”

The panel of highly regarded experts will teach brides how to evaluate options and modify concepts to create her dream wedding with limited stress. The expert panel includes Donna Von Bruening, DVB Photographers; Minette Rushing, Custom Cakes; Julie Driscoll, Garden on the Square; Caroline Carter, Caroline Carter Events; and Jennifer Hamill, The Mansion on Forsyth Park .  Many other experts will be available for consultation including Courtney Buntin Victor of Glow Med Spa and Heather Burge of Bleubelle Bridal with a special appearance by Project Runway alumni, Mitchell Hall.  Brides will also be able to view table scapes, stationary, florals, cakes and dresses from lavish to understated in themes created by the team of experts.

The program includes three educational sessions A) Cake and Photography, B) Florals/Event Design and Timelines, and C) Catering and Beverage Considerations enveloped between dinner and a champagne/dessert reception along with fun give-aways.  Brides can register at www.eveningwiththeexperts.com for $50 or $75 at the door.
