Neerja is born and bought up in Meerut. She did her schooling from RG College and her post graduation in management from CCS University, Meerut.


ABOUT HER BOOK ‘MEMORY TECHNIQUES FOR SCIENCE STUDENTS’

After her studies she came to know about some memory techniques from memory master Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury. And since she was from Science background she wrote a book on how to apply memory techniques on science subjects to ease the problem of science students. The name of the book is ‘Memory Techniques For science Students’. This book is fairly popular among science students and has been translated into three languages Hindi, English and Bangla.

SHE MEMORISED COMPLETE OXFORD ENGLISH-HINDI DICTIONARY
Neerja studied from a Hindi medium school and wanted to improve her vocabulary. She memorised entire Oxford English-Hindi Dictionary. You ask her any word and she gives the meaning promptly. She has demonstrated this skill among public more than 120 times. During her demos Oxford Dictionaries are distributed among audience and people ask any word from the dictionary from her.
Not only she gives demos on dictionary but also she teaches the students and teachers how they can do the same using her methods.
More than 50 seminars she has taken to educate people on dictionary memorisation techniques.

WORLD’S LARGEST SCISSORS

Neerja wanted that her methods to memorise dictionary should reach the general masses. So she wrote a memory comic containing easy tips to memorise the Oxford Dictionary.
She also designed a pair of scissors sized 7 feet 7 inches to unveil this world’s first memory comic on 16th August 09 in Delhi, which has set the  Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest pair of scissors.
Neerja said, “Whenever a book or a product is launched, it is common to use scissors to cut the ribbon. And when the scissors in question is the world’s largest pair, it adds further colour to the event.”

MEMORY DICTIONARY PVT LTD

Neerja has started a company called Memory dictionary P Ltd to help the students of CAT, MAT , GRE, TOEFL etc. to help memorise the English vocabulary fast.
Initially this company will very soon work through a website called memorydictionary.com.
Students will learn the vocabulary with the help of carton movies, video games, MMS and e-comics at the very affordable prices using memory techniques.

“India Book of Records” was started in 2004 by Biswaroop Roy Choudhury , who himself is a Guinness world record holder to provide a platform for people to showcase their extraordinary talents .
