All eight stylists at the Charles Lee Salon & Spa in Akron will volunteer their time by providing “Haircuts for Haiti” from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, 2009. The suggested minimum donation for haircuts will be $10 for men and $20 for women. (Hair drying, style finishing, etc. are not included.) One hundred percent of the money will be given to the Summit County chapter of the American Red Cross to help earthquake-devastated Haitians. The Charles Lee salon is located at 1562 Akron-Peninsula Rd.-Suite 101 in Akron (in the Valley). David Daisher, who owns the salon in partnership with his wife, Christine, explained, “Everyone at our salon wants to be able to help the Haitian earthquake survivors, and the best way we can do this is by utilizing our staff’s haircutting talents. Our customers – along with people who aren’t among our usual clientele – will be able to get a bargain rate on haircuts while helping a good cause.” For more information, call 330-929-3093, visit www.CharlesLeeSalon.com, or go to Charles Lee Salon’s Facebook page.
