Presidential Task Force on Childhood Obesity, but FDA wants Fat - Duped - American Consumers

Feb. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- President Obama establishes a Presidential task force to prevent childhood obesity, but will he start with the FDA currently allowing chemical food additives, preservatives and genetically modified food that results in higher percentages of fat in rats, children and duped adults who eat such phony food?

Will the Presidential task force on childhood obesity tackle the fat and deadly policies permtting harmful additives, chemicals and genetic modification of our food supply at the FDA?

Mission and Functions of the Task Force.  The Task Force shall work across executive departments and agencies to develop a coordinated Federal response while also identifying nongovernmental actions that can be taken to solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation. The functions of the Task Force are advisory only and shall include, but are not limited to, making recommendations to meet the following objectives:

(a) ensuring access to healthy, affordable food;

(b) increasing physical activity in schools and communities;

(c) providing healthier food in schools; and

(d) empowering parents with information and tools to make good choices for themselves and their families.
