Borneo International Yachting Challenge 2010

Feb. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The Long awaited dates for the 7th annual Borneo International Yachting Challenge have just been announced. The event will start at Miri Marina on 24th July and finish at Sutera Harbour Marina, Kota Kinabalu  on 31st July. The provisional program includes inshore races both off Miri and Kota Kinabalu plus passage races from Miri to  Brunei, Brunei to Labaun and Labuan to Kota Kinabalu.

There is no entry fee for the race and  as an incentive each yacht which completes the challenge will be awarded RM688 to assist with crew and travel costs. The schedule fits in well with the sail Malaysia rally which is due to arrive in Miri on 24th July.
