Elant Ceo Donna Mcaleer Selected To Serve On Ahca’s Not-for-profit Committee

March 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Elant President and CEO Donna G. McAleer was recently appointed to serve on the American Health Care Association’s Not-For-Profit Committee, which represents roughly 2,600 non-profit nursing facilities across the country.

The AHCA Not-For-Profit Committee supports and facilitates the Association’s mission, vision, and policy goals in an ongoing effort to ensure that long-term care is viewed as one profession, speaking in one voice, delivering a unified message. The committee also has primary responsibility to focus on those issues and needs that arise specific to the not-for-profit constituency, which comprises close to 25 percent of the AHCA membership.

“You are well-qualified to achieve the goals and objectives that the AHCA Board of Governors and leadership have established for us,” wrote AHCA Chairman Robert VanDyk to Mrs. McAleer regarding her appointment. “The decision to join an AHCA committee demonstrates your commitment to engage in the process.”

Mrs. McAleer said: “The issues being addressed in regard to long-term care across the country are significant and deserve strong advocacy. I am proud to be considered an influential player in that advocacy.”
