SAVANNAH, Ga. – Saber Security & Investigations, LLC, a leading full-service security company with offices in Savannah and Atlanta, will provide innovative concierge-style security at Ellis Square, the newly-renovated square located near City Market in the heart of Savannah’s National Landmark Historic District.  

“Safety is our number one priority for Ellis Square,” said company president Erica A. Lumpert, who has more than 15 years of experience in the security industry. “Our state-certified officers had to apply specifically for this job and excel in special training to ensure they will offer premier security and visitor services.”

Saber Security’s security team was retained by the City of Savannah to provide ongoing concierge-style security and information to visitors once the square officially opens to the public on Thursday, March 11.

“Officers will be located in the glass booth at Ellis Square,” said Lumpert. “They will provide 24/7 security, as well as any additional assistance visitors may need.”

Saber Security opened an office in Savannah in May of 2009 and currently services a wide range of clients ranging from the City of Savannah to various fraternities and sororities at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. A member of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, the company provides 24-hour protection services with fully qualified and state-certified security officers throughout Georgia.

“The City of Savannah sought Saber Security’s services because of our dependable history,” said Lumpert. “We provide security for several parking garages, city lots and cemeteries throughout Savannah and look forward to becoming part of the visitor experience at Ellis Square.”
